Bank Islam have deployed Emerico V3 mobility devices to effectively deliver mobile onboarding (MOB) to their customers at their branches and in remote locations. Termed “door-step engagement”, the devices have been particularly effective to meet Covid-19 guidelines on customer engagement.
Services offered through the mobility devices include expediting the existing account opening process and enabling on-the-spot account number and debit card issuance, as well as eliminating the need to have customers visit the nearest physical branch for the verification process.

ADCB (uBank) – Fujitsu has announced its implementation of smart banking kiosks at the newly opened digital banking centre in Abu Dhabi.
Fujitsu partnered with International-based banking and retail technology specialist Emerico to deliver the virtual teller machines to bring convenience and flexibility to banking customers.
The smart kiosks are part of the uBank experience launched by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB).

By TEOH PEI YING KUALA PILAH: Bank Rakyat today officially launched its agent banking initiatives known as Rakyat Care to increase access to quality and efficient banking services to all segments of society, particularly in rural areas.
Fujitsu partnered with International-based banking and retail technology specialist Emerico to deliver the virtual teller machines to bring convenience and flexibility to banking customers.
The ceremony was launched by Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hasan Malek. Hasan in his speech said Rakyat Care would provide residents of Kuala Pilah, especially the Bank Rakyat customers, with the facilities to conduct deposits, cash withdrawals, money transfers, payment of utility and payment of financing transactions. “While to those who are not Bank Rakyat customers, they are still able to conduct deposit and payment of utility. With Rakyat Care, the particular cooperative will gain side income through an increase in their customers as well as gain commission as an agent bank.”
